Our History
Founded in 1860, Rising Sun Lodge No. 129 is a cornerstone of Freemasonry in Aurora, Ontario, and the York District. With over 160 years of history, the lodge has been home to distinguished Canadians, including Sir William Mulock, a prominent figure in Canadian history known for his contributions to law, politics, and education.
The Rising Sun Lodge remains steadfast in upholding the timeless principles of Freemasonry—brotherly love, relief, and truth.
